Answer: Hiring a contractor for a new roof is not like buying a car; when buying a car you know what to pay because there are 100's of the same model to compare. Factors such as if the contractor is licensed, bonded, and insured should be considered. Different contractors preform different levels of work, ask for references and go with a contractor that has a track record of excellent work. Remember, if the price seems to good to be true it probably is.
